The Restaurants We Love to Love!

We often get asked by our customers and clients "Where's a good place to eat?"

All of us are foodies, and the local restaurants in the Boone and near-by towns are just crazy good. They range from family dining, to casual dining, to innovative & elegant dining experiences.

We've put our favorites together ... and do we have a list for you !!!

Peddler Steak House Known for their aged, hand cut steaks cooked over Tennessee hickory charcoal, The Peddler Steakhouse is definitely a top choice in Boone for any steak lover. Be sure to check out their whole rib-eye, wheeled to your table, and cut to your specifications. Show our business card and get 20% off !!!
Char Looking for an upscale, casual dining experience in a cosmopolitan setting? Then Char is the place for you. Once dinner is complete stick around for their bustling contemporary late night bar scene located in the heart of Appalachian State University.
Makoto's Japanese steakhouse & sushi bar that will accommodate the whole family in an entertaining setting. If sushi is what you desire, be sure to check out their ultra popular sushi bar, offering a full drink bar and superb sushi menu. A great place for drinks & Japanese cuisine after a day of fishing.
Cafe Portofino A favorite bar & restaurant of Boone locals, Café Portofino is located in a 100-year-old building in the middle of ASU's beautiful campus. Enjoy their eclectic mix of sandwiches, steaks, and pasta served in a ultra relaxed atmosphere. Be sure to check out their extraordinary wine list & bar food menu.
Dan'l Boone Inn For a true, Appalachian, family-style dining experience, don't miss this high country staple. Their family style meals begin with a salad in the summer and soup in the winter. Three meats and five vegetables are served along with biscuits, preserves, dessert and beverage. A full, family-style breakfast is served on Saturdays & Sundays.
Bandana's Bar-B-Que & Grill Specializing in wood-smoked Bar-B-Que, Bandana's serves some of the best Southern style Bar-B-Que ever, plus smoked pork, smoked turkey & chicken, ribs & baby back ribs, steaks, and more. Bandana's uses a unique blend of locally sourced wood to smoke their meats on premises. Generous portions at a reasonable price. You've just got to try their fried pickles!
