Justin Shroyer's passion for fishing grew on the ponds and creeks of his family farm in western Ohio. He carried this passion to Boone where graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Environmental Biology and Ecology. Justin loves stalking massive tailwater brown trout, and never ignores a good top water bass bite. He resides in Boone year round with his wife and daughter, who thankfully, understand his fishy nature. Justin is the proud owner and operator of Trophy Water Guide Service.

Rhett Shroyer is the other half of the brotherly duo, and head guide at Trophy Water Guide Service. While growing up, Rhett aspired to become a fishing guide, and his loyal customer base shows he made the right decision. His instincts are second to none, as few people can figure out the bite quite like he can. When Rhett is not guiding, he is scouting, and when not scouting, he is tying flies. Rhett lives and breathes fishing, and his enthusiasm is contagious when spending a day on the water with him.

Chris Treible grew up in Roswell, Georgia, just a short drive to the Toccoa Tailwater and an even shorter drive to the popular Chattahoochee River. Chris calls these rivers home but the need for bigger trout has brought him to Trophy Water Guide Service and the Tailwaters of Eastern Tennessee. Chris Loves chasing big Tailwater fish from his drift boat and loves challenging experienced anglers just as much as introducing the sport of fly fishing to first-timers. Chris is currently studying economics at Appalachian State.

Travis Honeycutt is a Western North Carolina native who covers the Asheville area for Trophy Water. When not guiding one of our superb tailwaters or Asheville area streams, he can be found guiding hunting trips across the nation. A day on the water with Travis will leave you with an abundance of knowledge, tactics, and a few laughs. Travis is as versatile as it comes and can always be counted on to provide a quality fishing experience.
